Sarah Grill is a lifelong reader, experienced editor, and long-suffering Chicago Bears fan with several bestsellers under her belt. She got her start in publishing in 2016, with internships at Harvey Klinger, Janklow & Nesbit, and Writers House, then rose in the editorial ranks at St. Martin’s Press and Emily Bestler Books/Atria, acquiring a wide range of commercial fiction and nonfiction. Prior to her time in publishing, she lived in Los Angeles and worked in development at Alloy Entertainment, packaging, adapting, and pitching books for television adaptation. Her favorite reads are either brilliantly crafted thrillers (Gone Girl; all things Tana French), deeply researched true crime (We Keep the Dead Close), or quirky, unexpected tearjerkers about absolute weirdos (The Wedding People; Nothing to See Here). With a passion for author advocacy, she is on board to ensure clients feel confident in every step of their publishing journey with KAA.
