Jessica began her publishing career in Los Angeles after receiving her MFA in writing from the California Institute of the Arts. She relocated to New York in 2015, where she spent a decade as a literary agent, first at Foundry Literary & Media and later at Jennifer Lyons Literary Agency, representing a wide range of authors writing everything from humorous memoirs and expert self-help to women’s fiction, science fiction, and horror. In addition to agenting, she has spent several years as a contracts manager, negotiating contracts with Hachette Book Group, Harlequin, and Zando, amongst others.
Jessica is also an author, and her first Young Adult novel, Last Kiss of Summer, debuted with Putnam Young Readers (PRH) in April 2026 and was an international bestseller.
She loves working with authors at every stage of their career and helping them chart a path that will work best for them, so they can grow confidently as writers.
